AI’s 2016 Influential Businesswoman Awards: Most Pioneering Woman in Technology

AI, Acquisition International, recently announced the winners of the 2016 Influential Businesswoman Awards. These Awards are designed to place strong women in the spotlight and to give recognition to those most deserving. 

“As women continue to shatter glass ceilings and become a significant part of the business world, we feel those individuals deserve to be recognized, and awarded, for their continuous hard work, ingenuity and talents.”

Women were chosen from a variety of industries and categories such as Media & Entertainment, Technology, Marketing, Art & Design, and Civil Engineering by a team of awards executives and researchers exploring all routes leading to potential nominees based on merit and their performances over time.

Selected as one of AI’s Most Influential Businesswomen for 2016, Avis Yates Rivers, CEO of Technology Concepts Group International (TCGi), was awarded the category of Most Pioneering Woman in Technology. For her many years as a woman leader in technology as well as her advocacy for the meaningful participation of women and minorities in technology.

Avis was interviewed for the online awards magazine, being asked a series of questions to provide some insight into her journey, the company she built, her challenges, her passion and her impact on the business world at large.
