Rick Smith is the Program and Service Delivery Lead for TCGi. He is responsible for program/project management for new customer engagements. Rick provides customer roadmaps for implementations as well as strategic and tactical direction. Rick comes to TCGi with over 20 years of experience in technology, IT Service Delivery and customer management.
Delivering enterprise solutions by owning client relationships, leveraging technical skills and applying collaboration expertise is his passion. Rick is a strategic, customer focused Senior IT Management professional with a proven record of success in driving critical initiatives from planning through execution and achieving measurable organizational impact. Rick combines leadership and relationship building skills to engage stakeholders and enable data-driven decision-making. Rick focuses on defining and delivering an overall program concept and direction as well as identifying areas of improvement to ensure high levels of value are delivered.
Rick has led major programs with large international teams (50+ technology professionals) for global finance, transportation and procurement transformations. The programs enhanced business processes such as monthly close, planning, compliance, procurement, risk management and reporting. In addition, major programs were aligned to deliver results consistent with industry standards such as Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS 239) and The Federal Reserve SR1319 Standards on Outsource Risks.
In his spare time, Rick is a health and fitness enthusiast, enjoys travel and supporting his son’s love of model planes and aviation.
